Colitis is the inflammation of the inner lining of the colon.  Symptoms include bloody diarrhea and pain.  There are several different types of Colitis: Ulcerative Colitis, Granulomatous (Crohn’s) Colitis, Ischemic Colitis, Infectious Colitis and Microscopic Colitis.
