MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Richard A. Krause, M.D. FACG
Dr.
Krause has 30 years experience as a Board Certified Gastroenterologist
and Internist. He graduated from Temple University Medical School
in 1972. He spent three years at Emory University and Grady
Hospital in Internal Medicine. One year at Yale University for a
fellowship in Gastroenterology; and an additional year at University of
Massachusetts for Gastroenterology. He started private practice
in Chattanooga in 1977. He has been Chief of Medicine, and Chief
of GI. And he has served on the Parkridge Medical Center Board.
Since 2003 he has been Medical Director of Skin Solutions. He has
taught at the UT Family Practice Program. Dr. Krause has been in
Clinical research for the last fifteen years and the Medical Director
of Clinsearch for the past ten years.

 | DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL OPERATIONS Carla Griffin, RN, CCRP
Mrs.
Griffin joined ClinSearch in December 2007 as the Director of Clinical
Operations. She brings with her over 13
years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse. Her previous work experience includes, staff
nurse and nurse preceptor in the Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
and ECMO at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. She began her career in clinical research
nearly 10 years ago at The University of Arkansas for Medical Science (UAMS),
in Little Rock, specializing in Adult Interventional Cardiology Research. She continued her research career branching
into therapeutic areas of Oncology, Neurology, Endocrinology, and Internal
Medicine. She relocated to Chattanooga
with her family in 2006 where she held the position of Clinical Research
Manager for Parkridge Medical Center, and Chaired the Internal Research
Committee from 2006 through 2007. She is a member of the Society of Clinical
Research Associates (SOCRA), in which she holds the designation of a Certified
Clinical Research Professional (CCRP).
She has been nationally recognized for her recruiting and retention and
has consulted as a panel speaker for a National Alzheimer’s study on
recruitment and retention.
