Rhonda Bovine, APN, FNP

Rhonda Bovine joined ClinSearch in 2008 as our NursePractitioner. She recieved her MSN from University of Alabama in Huntsville with a concentration in the Family Nurse Practitioner program. Her long experience includes stints with the Women's Institute for Specialized Health, PLLC, the State of Tennesse's Department of Health, the Chattanooga Hamilton County Health Department. Local students may recognize her as the former Director of Student Health Service at the University of Tennesse Chattanooga.

CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR
Yvette Bahn

Yvette Bahn recently came back to work with ClinSearch as a Clinical Research Coordinator in June 2007. She previously worked with ClinSearch for almost 2 years. She is a native of Venezuela and fluent in Spanish. She graduated with Honors and received and Associates degree from Cleveland State in Dental Laboratory Technology. She has also been in marketing and customer service for 24 years. She has worked on trials with patients in women’s health, gout, erosive esophogitis, obesity, and type 2 diabetics.

CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR
Becky Case

Becky Case joined Clinsearch as a CRC in May 2007. She has coordinated two clinical trial thus far concentrating on Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Cholesterol.

Becky has experience as a Medical Assistant, Medical X-Ray Operator, and Audiologist Assistant for 7 years. She has also worked as an Oral Surgery Assistant for 12 years in the Chattanooga area. Becky is a Registered Dental Assistant and a Medical X-ray Operator limited sinus and skull.

RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Kathy Loveless

Kathy came to ClinSearch in 2004. She has received Good Clinical Practice and IATA training and works under the ClinSearch standard operating procedures. Kathy assists each coordinator on each trial with various protocol procedures. Kathy is also currently pursuing a degree in Nursing.

Trenda Rector

Trenda has worked in the medical field for the past 8 years in Internal Medicine and cardiology. She joined ClinSearch to pursue a career in clinical research in early 2008. She has successfully obtained her CITI training, and OHRP training for GCP, and Protections of Human Subjects. Her recent research experience includes Coordinating 2 National Fibromyalgia studies and an Ulcerative Colitis study. She continues to obtain clinical research experience broadening her expertise as a dedicated caring clinical coordinator, “Research is very close to my heart. After experiencing the loss of my father to cancer, the possibility of making a difference in one person’s life through research and patient care gives me a great sense of fulfillment.”

Jennifer Wiggs, RN, CCRC

Jennifer joined ClinSearch in 2007. She comes to ClinSearch with a nursing degree from East Tennessee State University. She has been a study coordinator for 2 years and has worked in special care, neonatal intensive care, medical surgical unit and at the Chattanooga Heart Institute as a coordinator. She has served as a chairperson and standards committee for three years for Kappa Delta Sorority.

CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR
Christy Wilson, LPN

Christy Wilson joined Clinsearch as a CRC in January 2008. She has so far coordinated six clinical trials.

Christy previously worked as a coordinator at the Diagnostic Center. Prior to that she worked for Forum Health Care as Medical Records and Infection Control Manager.

PATIENT RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Tonya Hutchins, AAS, BS

Tonya came to ClinSearch in the summer of 2004. She is has been the Patient Recruitment Specialist, which coordinates all subject visits with the clinical research coordinators. Tonya is involved with all clinical trials. Tonya’s training at ClinSearch has consisted of CITI training, GCP training and clinical coordinator training. Since her time here at ClinSearch, Tonya has earned her Associate of Applied Science and her Bachelor of Science degrees. Tonya is enthusiastic about informing others about the
new and upcoming medications that will benefit the community.

SOURCE DOCUMENT SPECIALIST
Douglas May, BA

Doug recently relocated to Chattanooga from California and comes to ClinSearch after performing contract work at UNUM and Cigna. Prior to relocation, Doug contracted extensively in the financial services industry in San Francisco where he worked with various divisions of Bank of America including ATM re-branding, their West Coast stock trading arm, their debit card fraud department and for a partnered online banking company. Other credits include stints at AIG and Citibank as well as TIS/Starpoint Solutions.

Douglas is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
